Google Phone Htc is now available also in Italy. TIM (mobile operator of Telecom Italia) sells the gphone based on Google system Android starting from 429 euro.

His name will be "Magic" or G2, the new Google Phone based on Android that Vodafone will launch on the European market next spring.

This free operating software for cell phone is developed with Open Handset Alliance that is a consortium of over 30 technology and mobile companies like Nokia, Motorola, T-mobile. Gphones will be ready in the first part of 2008.

(30-10-2007) The Wall Street Journal reported that Google will announce the new g phone in the next two weeks. Google phone will mix several of its applications like Google Maps, YouTube, Gmail. G-phone will use only open software. Gphone are expected in the market in the first half of 2008. Google has discussed the production with a HTC (Taiwan) and LG (South Korea) and the services with wireless operators in the US, Europe, Hong Kong.
